Not too difficult to grow
Plant bushes 1.5m apart. Position 5cm lower than original soil level then cut all stems to 3cm. Choose fertile moist soil on sunny sheltered site.
Cut a quarter of older stems to 3cm every year to stimulate new growth - fruiting is better on one and two year old wood. Remove weak and crowded stems.
Pick when fully coloured and ripe but still firm. Remove whole trusses rather than individual fruit. Cover with netting to protect from birds.
